Finding the right school for your family is an arduous adventure unique to Denver because according to the Brookings Institute, there are more educational opportunities in the area than anywhere else in the country. It is a major undertaking to explore the vast educational terrain of Colorado’s front range without a seasoned guide. To make things even more difficult, each school district and private school have their own specific protocols and timelines.

Our consulting team takes the time to learn who you are as a family and what type of school would best fit your values and educational needs. If your child has been identified as gifted or with a learning disability, our firm has identified the programming at each school that will fit their needs. We will give you valuable insight that you cannot glean from websites, friends and state test scores. Front Range Educational Consulting knows the extensive public/charter and private school options in all the major school districts at a deeper level.

If your child is struggling in their current setting due to a specific learning disability or has challenges related to attention, reading, writing, or math, the classroom setting, and the schools capacity to support your child is more important than ever. Front Range Educational Consulting will guide you through the programming options at each school that best suits your child’s needs, the district processes regarding evaluation and IEP implementation, and the student services established at the top private schools, and charter/option programs.

By the end of your consult, you will:

  • Have an understanding of the various school districts’ choice processes for charter, innovation, magnet and option schools.

  • Be able to identify which educational philosophy/school is ideal for your child(ren).

  • Be knowledgeable of the area private schools and their admissions processes.

  • Be able to effectively strategize your child’s educational plan through high school.

  • Understand how specialized programming (Special Education and Gifted Services) work in the public and private school settings and which school would be the best fit for your child.

  • Understand the varying steps and programming for IEP evaluation within each district.

  • Evaluate the type of classroom environment and student support services that will best serve your child.

What our clients are saying...

“Going into the consultation we were slightly apprehensive and did not know much about the school choices for our daughter. We came away from the consultation feeling much more educated about the options and which schools were the right fit for her learning needs. There was a whole list of schools that we didn’t know about that turned out to be great options. We are so glad that we did this and felt it was well worth the time and money!”

“I am so thankful we were able to work with Jen Rigsby during this process of evaluations and school recommendations. She was so incredibly helpful and has gone beyond the call of duty. She was knowledgeable about our current school, and was extremely understanding of our situation and took the extra time to help me understand the process and ensure we were seeing a fuller picture of school options not only for now, but what will help set us up for the future. Thank you for everything!”

“I am a single mom struggling to figure out where I should send my daughter for middle school. This is such a difficult field to navigate, and I honestly cannot imagine not having Jen’s help. She has been a lifeline for me and completely vital to both helping facilitate the process and preserve my sanity. She is candid, knowledgeable, practical, supportive, and worth every penny. Thank you Jen!”

“Our meeting with Jen exceeded our expectations more than we could have imagined. How could we possibly talk about schools for two- hours? She was direct and to the point, appealing to our ever-growing desire to identify what our the best options for OUR child, not just which schools are the best. My husband can be hard-to-please and had concerns about the cost of our consultation, and felt more than satisfied and thrilled at Jen’s knowledge, efficiency, and options in considering what is best for our daughter as an individual. We couldn’t recommend Jen highly enough! Well worth the cost to have left with not only some fantastic options for our child’s education, but also a great reduction in the amount of stress we had about the process before meeting!”

“Jen was exceptional. She took time to understand who we are and our values and then methodically and thoroughly discussed schools we were considering and those we hadn’t thought about yet. Her insight was invaluable. We would recommend Jen to anyone in a heartbeat. My only disappointment is I wish we had more time. I have burning questions and wish I could just call Jen up. Maybe we can hire her for one more hour….”
