Jen’s expertise as a classroom teacher coupled with decades of specialized curriculum development for individual students, schools, and museums provides her with a highly specialized skill set for designing curriculum for students in grades Pre-K through 12 and ensures that your child will not only bridge the gaps in their foundational education, but propel towards their true academic aptitude. In addition to ensuring your child has the core curriculum mastered, Jen also provides enrichment services to create individualized, project-based learning opportunities in a variety of content areas that provides your child the chance to dig in deep to an area of interest, and explore using a multidisciplinary approach.
Homeschool Curriculum Consulting Services are custom built for your child’s needs, and include:
- Academic Assessment – Reading, Writing & Math to assess knowledge gaps
- Curriculum Development for students with learning challenges, and the highly gifted
- Targeted and Individualized Curriculum plan
- Weekly data collection & progress monitoring to evaluate gains and course correct
- Weekly check-ins with Tutor
- Able to provide tutor recommendations based on individual needs and goals for child
Enrichment Planning Services
- Project-based learning for students based on personal interests
- Hands on, creative, customized based on personal interests
- Bring fun back to learning while students are outside of a classroom
Small Group “MicroSchool” Classes
- Weekly virtual or in-person MicroSchool with peer groups (max 5 students – must provide group)
- Small group learning with reading and chapter study and culmination project
- Math curriculum with mathlete games and interactive learning
- Aligns with students current curriculum and academic needs
