Birch Psychology and Front Range collaborate to assess your child’s learning style to make school recommendations based on qualitative and quantitative data. These consults are designed for parents who wish to look deeper and collect data that empower important educational decisions. All assessment services are provided collaboratively with a school planning component provided by Front Range.
Educational Planning
Designed for all ages
The EDUCATIONAL PLANNING consult is designed for families with children of all ages who are considering private or public school options, and desire a cognitive assessment and school strategic planning consult. These may be needed for the initial identification of preschools, as well as transitions to kindergarten, middle and high school. We help answer questions for parents such as “what is the best school for my child?” and guide families on the path that will best support their values.

- Scoring, Interpretation and Written Report

Gifted and Talented Planning
Designed for all ages
The educational needs of children identified as “gifted” are often daunting and difficult to navigate. This GIFTED AND TALENTED PLANNING consult is designed to identify a gifted profile and to help guide families through the public and private school options, as well as the supports available for academic, social, and emotional development of a gifted child.
Included in the GIFTED AND TALENTED PLANNING consult:
- Questionnaire
- Cognitive Testing (WISC or WPPSI)
- Scoring, Interpretation and Written Report
- School Planning Consultation

- Teacher Interview
- Child Observation

Building Blocks +
Designed for all ages
This BUILDING BLOCKS + package is designed for parents who want to understand their child’s educational profile at a high level. By using a variety of assessment tools Birch Psychology and Front Range collaborate to understand all aspects of the individual child’s learning style including strengths and challenges. This package can be a foundation for further exploration of areas such as learning differences, attention style, social and emotional development, highly gifted needs (e.g. emotional intensity).

- Clinical Interview
- Cognitive Testing (WISC, WPPSI or WAIS)
